Rwanda - Rutobwe women's coffee

Rutobwe - Mbizi washing station

The Nyabarongo, Rwanda's longest river, meanders through the green highlands of the southern province. In the sandy and clay hills above the river, in the Kamonyi district, small coffee plantations are located at an altitude of 1,800 to 2,200 meters.

This is also home to the Mbizi washing station, where the coffee cherries are carefully processed. This organic coffee is fully washed and undergoes several quality selections before the beans slowly dry for two to three weeks on raised drying beds.

The high altitude, the unique terroir, and the careful processing together create a refined and distinctive coffee from the heart of Rwanda.

Quality coffee, crafted with love

Freshness is our top priority. That's why we package our coffee beans with the same dedication we use to roast them. We process every order with care and ship it thoughtfully, so you can always enjoy fresh coffee at home. With every sip, you'll taste the craftsmanship and love we put into it.

The Master Blender's Touch

Creating the right balance in every coffee blend is the beginning of a true love story. A story that starts with choosing the right beans, carefully selected from the most exotic corners of the world. Combining different coffee bean varieties, respecting their origin, is an art that results in a blend where the unique taste of each bean harmoniously merges.

Every day, fresh coffee

Every week, under the expert eye of our master roaster, the coffee beans are carefully processed. With the passion and love of a true craftsman, the coffee is roasted using the slow roast method, an approach that requires time and patience.

By using this gentle roasting method, we preserve the subtle characteristics of the coffee bean. This results in fresh, easily digestible, delicious coffee every single time.
