We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic permanent employee who believes in the story of Mokabon and is ready to welcome our loyal customers and tourists with an unforgettable experience! In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You prepare the tastiest cups of coffee and other hot drinks
• Customer focus is the core of our existence at Mokabon. As a permanent employee, you are the embodiment of this philosophy.
• You passionately tell the story of more than 85 years of coffee history and enthusiastically sell various freshly roasted coffee blends and single origin coffees.
• You work enthusiastically with the managers and other great colleagues in the daily management of the business, but you are responsible enough to work independently.
• You are responsible for preparing the service and cleaning up and tidying up the business upon closing.
• You are responsible for taking orders and collecting payments.
• You are responsible for maintaining the room, replenishing products, serving, clearing and washing dishes.
• You help make packages for our online consumers

Profile

• You already have first work experience in the catering industry or sales .
• You preferably have completed barista training or barista work
• You have a neat appearance, you are motivated and a go-getter.
• You can work quickly and accurately at busy times.
• You are at least bilingual (Dutch/English); other languages ​​are a plus

• You work a fixed schedule (with employment on Saturdays).
• Working hours between 9:30 am - 5:30 pm .

Mokabon:

The small, cozy coffee house in the dark alley has been the place where people from all backgrounds visit every day for a cup of comfort and freshly roasted beans for decades. It is a cozy, pleasant place that has remained very authentic since 1937. What is unique about the coffee house is that there are absolutely no social boundaries. That friendly, relaxed atmosphere is a legacy from the past and is enhanced by the fact that there are barely ten tables. It can be pleasantly busy there. :)
